🤔 Have your say, and influence Centro 365's future roadmap, by taking part in the 2025 User Survey.

Version 4.1 (28th June 2025)

New Features

  • Centro 365 fully supports Incognito and InPrivate browsing. Any activities carried out in a private browsing window will now stay there, ensuring your selections don't bounce back into non-private windows or tabs.
  • Added an admin centre for Microsoft Priva, for those of you with responsibility over your organisations' privacy operations.
  • Added an admin centre for Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
  • Context menu on the extension icon for Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Opera. Quickly access project help guides, see what's new, and share Centro 365 on social media.

Improvements

  • User interface refinements
    • The tooltip that appears when you hover over icons in the sidebar now reflects both light and dark modes, automatically.
    • Upscaled the browser toolbar icon, from 72dpi to 300dpi, to look a lot crisper on high definition and Retina displays.
    • Some admin centre colours have been tweaked to stand out more and provide better legibility.
    • Icon size refinements for more consistency in height and line thickness.
  • 136 additional shortcuts added to admin centres across 365 Admin, 365 Lighthouse, Azure Portal, Defender XDR, Entra ID, Entra Global Secure Access, Exchange, Fabric, Intune, OneDrive, Power BI, Power Platform, Purview, SharePoint, Teams and Viva.
  • Changed the order of the Purview admin centre to match Microsoft's newer Solutions layout.
  • Partner Portals section added to the Intune admin centre.
  • Defender for Cloud section added to the Azure Portal admin centre.
  • The Exchange Online, 365 Admin and Viva admin centres now use the admin[.]cloud[.]microsoft domain.
  • Links within the Microsoft Purview admin centre now use purview[.]microsoft[.]com.
  • Updated the fluentui-system-icons dependency to 1.1.303.

Removed

  • The Stream admin centre has been removed, as Microsoft has now retired this product.

Version 4.0 (25th July 2024)

New Features

  • Search, with two distinct modes. The biggest new feature, and the most requested one by far, has arrived. Centro 365 searches across all the admin centres by default, but you can switch to Focused mode to keep search results related to the admin centre on screen. Perfect if you only look after one or two products.
  • A fresh new look, optimised for search and high resolution displays. I've been careful to retain Centro 365's unique style while making better use of space and colour to improve navigation.
  • Omnibox support for accessing admin centres. For supported browsers you can type c365 into the omnibox, (the combined search and address bar), and then the name of the admin centre you want. Centro 365 will take you there, fast.
  • A whole new app experience on Apple's platforms, offering both a Safari extension and a native app experience. Pin the app to the Dock for easy access, and it'll open shortcuts with your default web browser. On iOS and iPadOS, tap the app on your home screen and dive into App Mode, which gives you search, the admin centres, and all 625+ shortcuts.
  • Keyboard shortcuts. Ctrl + Shift + Up will open Centro 365 whenever you need it, but you can remap this, if supported, in your web browser preferences.

Improvements

  • Over 100 additional shortcuts across many of the admin centres, surfacing many of the new features and pages in Microsoft 365.
  • New installations will load a Welcome Guide, walking users through the basics of Centro 365 and its newest features. (This is also available to existing users from the About page).
  • A new notification banner highlights important changes and Centro 365 updates. (This will appear just below the search box and can be easily dismissed).
  • Enhancements to dark mode to improve navigation and accessibility.
  • Leaving a review is easier, with a new menu item on the About screen.
  • Yammer has been renamed to Viva, with shortcuts to many parts of the Viva product offering.
  • Universal Print has been added to the Azure admin centre.
  • Defender for Identity has been added to Defender XDR admin centre.
  • 365 Defender renamed to Defender XDR, with a new admin centre icon and shortcuts.
  • Iconography has been updated with Microsoft Fluent UI System icons wherever possible. (Some product icons remain on Office UI Fabric Core).
  • Moved to Manifest 3 for Firefox.

Version 3.3 (16th July 2023)

New Features

  • Say hello to a new section for Entra Global Secure Access. This sits directly beneath Entra ID in the app and browser extension, keeping all of Microsoft Entra close to hand.
  • The macOS app now launches in a more useful, rectangular size. No more resizing every time you wish to use it on the Desktop.

Improvements

  • The Microsoft Entra section has been renamed to Entra ID. All of Entra's identity and protection controls sit within here.
  • The Teams Admin Centre has been overhauled. The layout now matches the latest changes by Microsoft, and a few deprecated URLs have been updated.
  • AAD Connect Sync and AAD Cloud Sync options now sit side by side in the Entra ID section, exposing quick access to administrators regardless of the hybrid sync you use.
